I Hate Racism and Discrimination

Hope Mother And Child Are O.k

My Grandmother told me this today. It just sickens me to hear about it.

An Asian lady and her mixed race child are on the run from her family.  After living with her husband of 10 years in secret, her  family found out where she was.   They do not approve of their relationship because he is black and she is Indian.  In the last few months various members of her family have stalked her, sometimes coming to her house 3 times a day to harass her.  At times they would sit outside her home for hours.  Just waiting for her to come out.

After this happening for months with the threats increasing, this week she took her daughter and went on the run.  Abandoning her husband for fear that, they would be able to follow her again and harm her and their child.

....Racism really sickens me.  I just hope that they are well, keep safe and can come home soon :-(....

    Very sad. Racism is really sickening. There are few things that I hate with a passion. Racism is one of those things.

    asian's are the only people in the world who follow this stupid culture thats the reason all asian countries are known as third world countries

      I know. My Grandmother told me that she still hasn't come back home with their daughter.

    Never in a million years with todays cultures would I think we are still with this kind of hate.

      I know. It's sad and depressing but times are changing. I see couples from various backgrounds all the time. That's why her parents reactions have amazed me.

    Its not only racism involved but culturalism and religion as asian religions and cultures tend to veer to arranged marriages where a women must follow leader of household.If she went with Black man against family wish's she could well be put to death and child for dishonouring the family.
