I am from an Indian family, as in from India. I was born in South Korea, but my parents have lived in America for over 30 years. I was under the age of 13 during 9/11 and didn't really understand what a terrorist was. I do remember getting pulled over once while my dad was driving us to the airport. My father is a 6 ft. 4 Indian man with a deep voice and a thick accent. People tend to be intimidated by him, but he is the kindest man ever. A police car pulled us over because my dad "looked like he as a terrorist". The officer made us get out of the car and we had to go to the police station for questioning. I didn't understand what was going on at the time, but once I was old enough to understand, I was extremely offended.

Its an ignorant way to go about things but they have to pull people in for questioning. Something tells me they don't know how to do their job, but what do I know i'm just a regular citizen that's as people say stupid.

I'm so sorry. It's not fair at all for you!

Im sorry this happened to You.I hope You understand that folks were scared all over America at the time.I had gotten close to a family from the middle east yet,for just a moment
and only in My head,I questioned their loyalties. Then I became concerned for them and went
to see them.Their tears said it all.
