My wife burns at the thought of the sun. She bathes in spf 50 several times a day. She has found slow and gradual exposure increases her tolerance and less burn. She can get burned just walking from the car to the beach. So, full body slather before walking out the door.

Need to get just a base tan going then you don't burn so badly.

It can take a few months to get it going but it isn't bad when you do.

I just find it kind of weird. I have no idea how i got it. I remember my injuries and it is a round bump like thing. Most of my scars are slashes from being cut. Maybe the hay did it but i don't remember getting any deep cuts...

AM, I am going to buy a bottle of that today. Thanks for the tip. I am heading to Virginia Beach so I want to be prepared.

Ar, I am sure it just didn't hurt you.

I can so relate. I got burned using SPF 75 Baby after being outside for only 2 hours!

I just found a WONDERFUL sunscreen at Walgreens and its the only stuff that has worked for me and my kids. I was pissed that I got burned (I just bought that sunscreen a few days ago and I was taking it back.) so I went to the pharmacists. He recommended Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock SPF 100+ with Helioplex broad spectrum uva-uvb. It works well. When I coat my kids - they dont even get a tan line. I do - they dont.
