It Is The Way It Is.

I met this girl in high school. She was so awesome. She was pure and innocent and just a rare decent human being. I was addicted to her. I didnt know if I wanted to be her friend or marry her. She was such a great person. We had almost everything in common, same taste in music, same sarcastic humor, same opinions on life. We both wanted to do everything and try everything. To this day, she considers me her best friend. I dont feel the same about her. Shes changed in every way you can imagine. Sometimes I feel like she used to pretend to be that way to impress me or to get me to be her friend. Other times I feel shes been corrupted by the people she started to hangout with. Either way, shes not the person I thought she was. Not at all. Sometimes I really can't stand to be around her. I just can't get over this addiction I have to her. I really believe that the time she had with me, was truly who she was.

You are in love with somebody who's completely fictional. If you marry her, it won't be the same as what you're expecting. If you have to try too hard to no avail just to change her back, then forget about her. You can move on.

Unfortunately, people change all the time.
