I Hate the Female Body Stereotype
Although they play a big part in it. Today I went shopping because I thought I'd like to go to the beach, and I needed some new swimmers. I came home empty handed because I'm not skinny, and because I don't have small boobs.
Now, I'm not obese. I'm not small either. In Australian sizes I'm a 16-18 depending on the clothes. While it's not too difficult to find something in that size for regular clothes, the fact that my cup size is an F makes it incredibly difficult, especially with swimwear. You literally can not find anything that will give support for large breasts. I've resigned myself to the fact that a bra and t-shirt will have to do, because even though there are some swim tops out there that fit ok, there are none that will disguise the fact that I have a bra on.
It's pathetic that the fashion industry only caters to skinny people and to one body type. I hate that this is what the world has become.
