Freedom of Speech

"If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear." -George Orwell.

I don't agree with the message that the "I hate white people" group promotes, but nevertheless they have the right to express their opinion.

Is their group immature, racist, ignorant, and inappropriate? Yes. All of the above.

But just because you disagree with what they are saying does not mean you should be calling for the group to be deleted.

I've about had it up to *here* with the hate groups on a Support site...Grrr.

I would have to agree with WhatMakesYouThinkImNot. There is a little thing call the first amendment that we have to take into consideration when we discuss censoring or deleting such groups. Although I strongly disagree with the message they promote, they do have the right to spew fourth their ignorance. *shaking head*

They should however take into account that the whole world doesn't Operate on the ideals of the first amendment, for example that group would not be allowed in our country. Yes we have freedom of speech, but it's not allowed to be used in a prejudicial way, if it is what they say becomes a hate crime. We even have special courts to deal with things like that

I agree. Deleting the group won't change the fact. But I can't find it so I guess it got deleted..
