Along With "Snap Out of It"

These were favorite sayings of my mothers - "snap out of it" and "quit feeling sorry for yourself", after the latter she would then reel off a while list of reasons why she is so much worse of than I am, oh and how I should be grateful! Grateful for what? Okay so I know I'm far more fortunate than a lot of other people but that doesn't mean I shouldn't allow myself to wallow in self pity from time to time. I have problems, whether some people have worse problems than me is pretty irrelevant - it doesn't make my problems disappear, it doesn't ease my pain and heartache.

not everyone needs a kick in the rear but simply love

To wallow in self pity is OK .. I do it too from time to time .. but then the highlight is on FROM TIME TO TIME ... if I stay in self pity mode for too long I fall into depression and from there it's very difficult to recover.<br />
I hope you feel better soon ... never nice to see a fellow human in pain.
