Because I Was Never Meant to Be a Home Maker

Okay, every now and then when I decide that I am going on a "cooking" streak, experiment in the kitchen and try to cook up something good, I always find myself dreading the process afterwards: DISHES. The dishwasher gets the job done, but frankly I don't have that many dishes to begin with and it takes a long time for dirty dishes to build up for one person.

I want to marry a husband who loves to clean. LOL :) Nope, I do not enjoy washing dishes.

And yeah, it can be calming. I am going to work on that!

Ya know, i really want my family to adopt the rule that i've seen others do.
"the cook doesn't wash the dishes"
I think i'll have to wait till my boy gets old enough to cook and do dishes for that to work though

Funny - I like to vacuum! (Yes, I am a weirdo... but there is a strong sense of satisfaction from sucking up all those cat hairs.)

I hate washing dishes - but I hate vacuuming more!!!

I'm just not a fan of household chores, period. Laundry, cooking, cleaning, garbages...I know it has to be done, but it sucks doing it. Sometimes it can be calming, almost in a weird sort of Zen mindlessness way. Maybe what I don't like about it is that it is always there, inescapable. It's not something you can do once and move on to something else.
