hen i was a kid i remeber being in a park in manchester walking along eating the biggest granny smith apple..it was bigger than me!
the juice was running down my chubby chops and i rember these things flying round my face...i started flapping them away (with my hand) and one stung me..i tried to run away..but they followed me..and stung me!
i must have been stung at least 20 times! luckily for me i was not allergic....
since then i have knelt on on by accident..(its abdomen got stuck in my knee and i had to have it removed at my local doc's) and been stung many more times at random.
the worst sting i ever heard of was from my older brother....he was driving a icecream van and had opened a can of coke. he stopped to serve some kids and then carried on driving...he took a swig of his drink and actually felt something stinging down his throat as he swallowed! (gag!)
unfortunatly for him he was illergic and his throat instantly started to swell up...he had enough time to drive hi8mself!!!! to hospital and get sorted...he had such a bad reaction he had to stay in a few days...
so you can understand my dislike for them?
