I Hate When Love Hurts

why does it hurt? love isn't something that is supposed to make your heart hurt its supposed to make you have one. Its the thing that is supposed to be why we have hearts not why we wish we didn't have them. love is a double edged blade sometimes and if you don't use it ... its cuts you. i hate how i feel right now over something like this and i feel so pathetic considering so many others have it worse. don't bother saying i am not.. cause its all i feel right now

    I wish someone would explain this to me too.



    Truth is, as you have witnessed, love does hurt at times. It shows us that our heart is there. That we are vulnerable. Love is something beyond our control. It sweeps us up and carries us away in it's very own plan. We can only hope it keeps us safe but when it doesn't, when it breaks us down to such a vulnerable state, all we can do is acknowledge that love is powerful enough to make us feel both happiness and pain.



    This is the point where you get to decide if it is worth it or if you will bandage up your heart and lock it away so nothing else can ever harm it.
