The Diner

I ordered London Broil and Scallops tonight. The London Broil was clearly cube steak.  I mean, REALLY.  I said, "this is not London Broil" and sent to back (it had way too much grizzle).  The owner came out to me with a knife and a fork and told me (in a thick Italian accent) that it was indeed London Broil and he'd paid alot of money for it.  I ate the rest of my meal and declined their luscious desserts.  Was charged the full price for the meal.  I won't go back.

How cheeky! I don't know what I would've done but I guess in company we all are more polite.

I have refused to pay for more than one meal because of too much grizzle or it being over cooked to the point of being jerky. I wish you better luck the next time you dine out.
