Gone But Not Forgotten

I have two brothers. My oldest brother passed away when I was in my 20's. My other brother has not spoken to me since I got pregnant when I was just barely 17. We were Catholic. I wish the past could have been so different. However wishing isn't going to change it. Cheerio and take care all. If you have a brother why not give him a call or jot a line. I will bet it can't hurt.

I look at life this way: Somebody put this biosphere together and obviously made us to take of it and eachother.

Common knowledge letss us understand that a baby is made to learn and learning is done by trying and making mistakes.

I can't see a teacher lopping off som student's finger because he didn't get someting right the first couple times.

God the createor must be at least several thousand smarter than us and besides this he or she or they made us.

So, I can't see God being made, angry , punitive when you made a mistake, when you got pregnant at an early age.

It is the CHURCH that is angry, punitive and etc. etc. etc.

God has been trying to get into the CHURCH for a long long time.

A CHURCH should be a community of people that love and forgive and that set boundaries to keep the freedoms that allow us to grow.

As your brother matures, there is a chance that he figures this out and you can try to get closer.

I could say that I am praying for this. Or I could say that I hope this for you. But ultimately, you have to choose to understand the situation and prepare yourself to either forget being close or make a good effort at getting that friendship back.

Sincerely,
