Bruce

I hand raised my cockatiel with my boyfriend, and we wanted it to have a 'tough' name, so we named it Bruce. Only three days after she learnt to fly, we forgot to turn a ceiling fan off and she flew into it! Luckily, all she got was bruised wing, a black eye and a big fear of fans. Then when spring came along, we figured out (with the help of 9 layed eggs) that 'Bruce' was really a 'Brucetta'! I still believe she's a little 'nutty' after her hit to the head, she loves to hang upside down and spread her wings and rub her bottom up against her mirror and squeak but she's an awesome bird and we wouldn't have her any other way!
