He Is Now In Someone Else's Arms...

Last August 2011 I met the most amazing man. We both fell in love with each other. However due to my fears and insecurities I broke it off with him 5x's in a very short term relationship. He is in his late 20's where Im in my late 30's the age was not a at all the problem for me. However, him being a Nurse who is also a Medical Student was the issue. I felt as if he was too good to be true. I didnt have the confidence in myself and now I hate the fact that I have lost him to someone else. It has been my biggest regret.

True love knows no boundaries so age shouldn't be a issue. I think if his feelings were as strong as yours he would reassure you there's nothing to worry about and put your fears and insecurities to rest. If on the other hand you have constantly displayed these emotions, it often drives partners away.
In future, try to give it your best shot. Discuss your insecurities with your partner. At least you have recognised what you have done. This will be a learning process for you so the next time you are in the same situation and feel insecure, pull back your emotions and give your relationship a chance. Always give them the benefit of the doubt otherwise you may lose the opportunity to find true love.
I hope you feel better soon.
