My Cat Is Old

My cat I've had since he was 6 weeks. He's getting old now. I don't remember exactly what year we got him but he'd be at least 15 years old now, maybe even older. My cat is my only companion in the house. I'll miss him when he's gone.

He does annoyingly wake me up every morning meowing constantly until I feed him. Just like a baby or child or something.

I wonder how long cats live?

i live with my son and daughter in law,we have 2 doggies (labs) and 1 honery cat,my daughter in law had 2 cats and a dog when i moved in,the dog,an alkia, died at age 18,one cat died at 18.the other cat at 23.she takes very good care of them all, cat, zooey ,is very antisocial, wont let us pick her up,but she comes around for a pet, doggis are 7 and 8,animal live long here, lots of love helps,

It depends. Mixed breeds live longer. From what I hear, they can go up to 20+ years with the right care. I've had an old cat at one point in time. They are such a joy!
