He's on the spectrum, although he's high functioning...

It's a struggle sometimes... but I wouldn't change him for the world!  He's taught me so many things and his imagination is so wonderful!  He's above average smart too.  He keeps us on our toes  ;)

    Special needs' children teach us more about ourselves and others than anyone ever could providing we're willing to adapt to them. (Why should we ask them to adapt to the world and not the other way around? Individualism is such a wonderful thing! And these children don't let anyone tell them they should be just another sheep in the herd! They are very smart, think outside the box, and have a passion all there own! They're braver and stronger than a lot of adults I know.

    thats beautiful reading this made me smile, i have no kids but i love it how you say "i wouldnt change him for the world!" special needs children are truly a special kind, its such a happiness to see them grow and progress. congratulations mommy!
