Wilm's Tumor

My firstborn daughter was diagnosed with the toughest strain of Wilm's Tumor when she was 4. She braved 18 months of chemo and radiation which made it go into remission. On her first checkup after the treatments had ended it was discovered that it came back with a vengance. The surgeons tried to remove it but were unsuccessful. She died when she was 6. There have been other children who had Wilm's Tumor that are survivors. I'm happy for those families who don't have to go through the pain of losing a child at any age.
