Deactivate The Lynch Mob
SO the day has come. I knew sooner or later it was going to happen. My Ex brings along his girlfriend and her daughter to my daughter's soccer game Saturday. I admit. I was rattled at first but took a deep breath and decide that I will rise above this as well. While sitting on the sidelines cheering the team on, I send a text to my friend. The text read...the ***** is here watching the game. I then receive an onslaught of texts messages from each of them. I don't know if you ever watched the tv show the A-team back in the days but they all use to jump into a van when they were off to fight crime. For some reason that came to mind as soon as I start reading each one of their messages. My purpose for sending that one text was just to let my friend know of my discomfort. Well being the friends that they are, they all have been dying for THE day they can rough up and mutilate my ex and his girl for everything that they have put my daughter and I through. So this opportunity was just too tempting. I start to laugh as my friend Jene starts to describe step by step in Spanish/English how she was going to manhandle his girlfriend first. I remind her to bring her asthma pump and blood pressure medicine as all that physical activity would be too strenuous for her. LOL! I tell them all that I am just fine and my baby was fine so there was no need for them to assemble at my daughter's soccer game. They asked if they promised not to bring any weapons if they can still come for intimidation. I told them that I love them all to pieces and that I didn't have enough money to bail them all out so they should all stay where they were at. I told them no drive-by's either and to stay within a ten-mile radius of the field. You gotta love my crazy bunch of friends. Thank goodness they were sober because they actually listened to me. A few drinks in them is all it takes to get that rowdy bunch riled up! Life would be boring without them.
