I Am Not Yet Using It....

but someday I hope to. Although I have been a graduate for a couple of years now...I do not yet hold the certification that would allow me to use my degree....my teaching credentials. I believe that a mind is a terrible thing to waste and therefore think that an education is invaluable, whether you seem to use it or not.

Ha..I graduated too and I am looking for work and studying for my certification. Might as well get certified...it can't hurt and completes what you started out to gain.

I TOO HAVE GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE. I AM CURRENTLY NOT WORKING . I ONLY DO VOLUNTARY WORK FOR THE CHURCH. I BELIEVE SOMEDAY SOON I WILL USE MY TALENTS FOR GOOD WORKS.

Hi Carmen, You are so right, dedication and a lot of hard work takes a person to reach their goal. I was thinking of getting my masters in Psychology but I am still thinking about it.
It sounds like you are a very positive person, would like to keep chatting with you.

I need to know of someone who started college as a parent (running a household, a part time job and more), with financial and family pressures, who acutally got their degree. I need some encouragement and courage to continue. Getting my degree has been my life's dream... but more and more I see it fading.

both my sisters have ba one in children something....can be teacher because she got her credentials and the other is a nurse. One thing that i have noticed is that to be able to do college with children....you have to have people who you can trust your kids with. Also you school has to come first before all other obligations. no parties or family times....your house has to be organized and your children have to have strict routines. If your working making sure that you have your meals prepared wisely so that your eating to keep up with all the stress...its possible if you trully desire to finish school....just have to manage your time wisely thats all. look into tips like...cooking for three days and storing all the food pre- prepared to cook. have menus and schedules. and drink a lot of vitamin c.
i guess thats my advice from what i have seen my sisters do. sometimes they had to go on three hours of sleep. Best wishes...

The college experience is more than just a diploma or degree. The full college experience is what made you who you are. At some point you will put who you are and what you learned to good use. Not everyone finds what they are meant to do right after college. Find what makes you happy.

Dude,
That is a sad but harsh truth. I am pretty much in the same predicament but f- it just have to make new moves. As long as the degree has been obtained there is plenty of oppurtunity!!

why wouldn't I post on this site?

Yes a mind is a terrible thing to waste. So why are you posting on this site?
