Thinking In Complicated Ways

I remember having a teacher when I was in high school who told me I thought in complicated ways. Since then, either consciously or unconsciously, my thinking has always been complex. Some people have told me they think I think in ways that are too complex. However, given the choice between coming up with a simple solution and a complicated one, I always naturally go with the complicated one. It just seems more natural to me.
