My daughter Brianna turns 2 tommorow. I can't believe how time is flying. It seems like she was a newborn just yesterday. She is so smart now. She can pretty much hold a conversation. She can do her abcs and count to 15. I am so so proud of her. She is my world. Its funny how you think you have loved someone as much as you possibly could before you have a child, but when you have a kid that love is so much more powerful. I would take a bullet for my girlfriend or my mom anyday but I would think for a second before I did, but with Brianna its just instinct. My purpose is to protect her. Sometimes I get scared because I know one day she is gonna be a teenager and sometimes teenage girls are their own worst enemy. I will probably wanna beat up every boyfriend she gets. I know I will always think of her as my baby girl, and it will probably aggravate the crap out of her when she is older. I look forward to seeing her grow up though.

That is so sweet. You remind me of my boyfriend we found out we were having a baby girl. He says the same thing, he is afraid of the "teenage years." Good luck with everything.

Swan I am so sorry for you and your families loss. I couldn't even begin to think of the pain you went through.

Thank God for fathers like you. Cherish the moments you have with her. We lost our daughter about 10 yrs ago. I have a lot of regrets. Wished I would have been a better parent.

That is wonderful. I feel the same way with my daughter. She is my world.
