What? No book eating, paper towel/toilet paper attacks...or even the dreaded wall eating...seven months is just a great time for Danes. And just think, they are not even official adult dogs until 18 months. High quality food and maybe not as much may help a bit with the land mines in the backyard...but not much. Other than that walk them and love them and know that there is no place on earth they would rather be than right next to you...or leaning against you, or draped across you.

    Sincerely

A proud owner of two rescue Danes: Jake (125 pounds and three years old) and Dakota (120 pounds and 18 months)

She's an absolute ANGEL about not destroying our property. I've never had a dog that only annihilated her own toys!... and she'll ownly doing her 'potty thing' in her own yard, which could be a problem because we're moving. She LOVES being with me, and I take her everywhere for the socialization. We live in the mountains, in the woods, so I'm trying to train her to get used to all kinds of activity by taking her into stores and walking her in downtown in the village. It'sreally working... and she's so obedient! The only other dog thatI've ever had that behaved as wellas she does was a full-sized collie, but that dog didn't seem to have the brainpower that Raven has!
