I Have Two Dogs Now

Last week I adopted a German Shepherd that I named Stefan from the pound, and I really love him, but I also couldn't stop thinking about the animals that get left behind. The one that I thought about the most was an older English Setter. Yesterday I went back to the pound and adopted him. He's eight years old. Since he's English, I named him Oliver.

Oliver made himself at home right away, and he's a very good playmate for Stefan. I usually work five days a week, sometimes six, and I thought it would be mean to leave a dog home alone all day without a companion.

It's the right size for my family, but I'm not going to get anymore animals. I live in an apartment and there's a two animal limit.

    That's a horrible thing to do, did you call the police on your neighbor? He belongs in jail.

    Hi Brenda, I'm glad u went back for the older dog. Oliver will certainly be good company for the other one. I had two just recently lost one,the neighbor next door poisoned her. We just moved here in January n started having trouble with the neighbor before we could even unload the truck. I think the lady that owns the place should of told us about him before we moved in. She was a loving little dog that trusted everyone. She was so full of life n never wanted to see anyone Sad. And she loved smuggling up to u n putting her head n neck against yours. She still had so much life in her for many years ahead. She was a small Jack Russell but looked like a Rat Terrier. She was loved by everyone that met her. They all wanted my little "Dixie". Both dogs r inside dogs n never made a fuss or noise of any kind to disturbed the neighbors. No. obsessed barking. I have no fence so I put them on a Chang when their outside without me n they stay on the carport n walk out onto the grass to go potty. I caught him feeding them n wanted to tell him not to, but thought he was wanting to show Us that he's a human-being. Just didn't understand then Why he was snacking around to feed them n didn't ask. Now I know Why :-( Max my daughter's dog misses Dixie terribly. Hope u have many years of happiness with Oliver n Stefan :-) Oh, almost forgot ...     well thats nice and im sure its good to have a pet you know i like dogs so much and i even have in our house well if we transfer to our new place i would love to get a pair of small dogs so its nice to be a pet in our house too.Im sure you like them and its nice to care for them too.Thanks for the add.
