The Royal Courtyard

A personal story in the experience: I Have a Dog
I have three amazing dogs .  The oldest one is Maxine (Maxie for short), the middle one is Bodie, and the youngest is Kati.  Maxine (she's a mut, part german shepherd probably) is really old on the outside (about 10 yrs), but still a puppy at heart.  We got her from the pound for my older brother when we were kids, but now he has grown up and moved out and I am the last one still living at home so I was (fortunately) stuck with the dogs since my mom doesn't like dogs (or so she says).  Maxie is the queen and she won't let anyone forget that she is in charge (well, I mean, not counting me of course)!  Bodie is a sheltie and when we got him a few years ago he got attacked by something (no one knows what it was) in the back yard and was probably traumatized by it, but he doesn't have any physical scars or anything anymore and I have no doubts that he did not act with the utmost courage when left alone to defend himself in battle.  He originally belonged to my mom's boyfriend at the time, but as things worked out he was left with me.  He loves to bark at and chase cars unfortunately, but at least we have a fence to keep him in.  He is also the sweetest thing anyone could ever encounter! He is the royal and loyal Prince Bodie, heir to throne  (but hopefully not too soon).  Princess Kati can be a royal pain at times (and she would take that as a compliment).  She is my personal pretty pooch, a malti-poo-pom, the cutest dog that ever lived.  She knows no boundaries, literally! She will squeeze through the bottom of the gate on the fence if she wants to (but she is a good dog and only ever does that when she can't greet me properly from behind the fence), and even if there wasn't a small gap for her to squeeze through she would probably find a way to climb over or dig under just to get what she wants.  She is also a very renaissance type of dog, she can jump at least 3 times her length in the air to catch a ball (she loves to play fetch and "you can't catch me" too), she knows tons of tricks (including stand, walk on hind legs, play dead, roll over, hi five, and shake hands with the correct paw plus tons more), and I even once taught her the first three letters of the alphabet, but then I realized that doggy language is much more efficient than people language and decided to start training myself instead.

Very interesting! Thanks.
I also have 3 dogs and love them all. You can always TRUST them to be like, and behave like a dog.
