We found out today that my father is in remission from his Leukemia. Last time he was in remission, he had 1 percent blast cells but now he has 4 percent. (Under 5 is considered in remission.) My father needs to have a bone marrow transplant before he relapses (which can be within three weeks since he has a mutated gene) and his brother, whom is a perfect match, agreed to be a donor. Until this morning, when he randomly said he didn't "believe" that the transplant would help him. My father needs the transplant as soon as possible to save his life. We're going to keep trying to convince him and have the doctor try to explain it to him but if he doesn't do this, I don't know how to get past that. It's his brother for goodness sake.

Okay, I needed to get that off my chest! Thanks for reading.
