My mother is in the OR right now being operated on. she has bone cancer and broke her hip today. She broke both femurs last week....
I don't know how long this will last... She hasn't gone to her radiation treatments yet and the doctors have sent in the hospice and "end of life" doctors in. I think they're called Paliative?

Sorry to hear, I have waited outside the operating theatre for nearly 12hours (when we were told 6 to 7 hours), as my dad was being operated on to remove his tumour. He had sinus cancer.
Our situations may not be identical, but I hope you know that my thoughts are with you and your mum, and I am here to talk.
