The Story Behind My Name.

As I shared in another post that my middle name, Bree, meant "The exalted one" in Gaelic and English, I thought that I should share the story of my middle name. It's a short one, but funny in a way.

Well, first off, my mother picked my first name from a book that she read where the main female character was named Kendall. She loved the name, so hence I received it. :] I wouldn't change it if I had the chance. However, when I was born, they couldn't think of a middle name for me. They went driving that day, since they had 24 hours to choose a middle name. And they couldn't come up with one. They then go down this street and pass a house with a huge pile of trash in its front yard. They think to themselves, "Debris? .. Nah, that would just be cruel." Hence, I ended up with Bree.

It might rain on another person's life to be slightly named after trash, but it doesn't to me. :p I just think of it as, "Well I can use the saying: 'one man's trash is another man's treasure'." :]

Your Response

I've always found it to be cool to hear about the origins of people's names, including their last names. I've seen and heard some interesting responses to some of the names I've heard of, and they just keep getting more interesting the more I hear them.

And if you're not one of EP's upcoming treasures, as I've already said, I'm mistaken! Isn't it also funny how the meanings of your first and second name are so close to each other. Must be because they really are applicable!

I found it strangely strange that they were so close. lol And thank you for your kind words! ^^

Your choice of words is wonderfully wonderful :)
