Absolutely, Myo!! Photography is a really great hobby. Something that can be done in short snatches of time, but something that can be taken to other levels as well. As far as learning the camera - if it's digital, just play with it. Just see what the different settings do, and see what you like. It was a lot of fun for me to learn my way around mine...



Rose - I didn't mean for the window to mirror everything, but it turned out sort of cool, huh? I also love toads and frogs. We have a big security light outside, and we have a ton of toads out there in the spring and summer. They're one of the quirks of this place. : )

What a great story! You really made it come alive, really cool pictures too. I'm glad that one picture had your reflection so prominent. That made it more interesting that way. I enjoyed seeing the background reflection of the grass and trees too. Thank you for rescuing that little frog. I love little frogs and toads. You looked after one little frog and now you have several looking after you by eating up the pests outside your house.

I have a Nikon ??? something or other and have yet to get comfortable with it. I have to get some hobbies, though, so I can get step out of the fog, if you get my drift. I just need to play with it more instead of handing it off to everyone.

Glowy! This is hilarious! I wouldn't have thought to chronicle a frog escapade. I would have been freaking out, I think. What kind of camera do you have?

how cute ... the frogs that hang out now are probably the great grandchildren who just keep an eye on you ... and are there thanking you everyday that you didn't treat their granddad harshly!

Addendum to this story...I wrote it two years ago - and I'd never seen tree frogs around my house before...but there are about five or six that hang out on my windows and walls at night now. I like to think they're descendants of this little guy.

I'm mostly plagued by frogs. Last night, there was a frog in my kids' bedroom. I think that thing freaked me out a little more than the little tree frog. Maybe because it was just sitting in the floor amongst the toy trucks and lincoln log bins...

If I could have taken pictures of myself driving down the road with that thing darting back and forth across my windshield, it would have conveyed the mood a little better...but then again, maybe I had enough distractions while driving.
