A Bit Relieved

Well I've posted in this group before and have posted other stories related to my frustration regarding mine and my husband's sex life. For about the past 3 years his drive has decreased while mine has skyrocketed. I've gained a significant amount of weight due to pregnancy and health issues causing decreased mobility. I've always felt he just wasn't attracted to me anymore despite him telling me over and over that's not the case...I figured he just didn't want to hurt my feelings.

He'd talked with his old doctor about his low drive and he just said it was a side effect of antidepressants and never looked into it further. A couple months back he switched Dr's and the new Dr has been very thorough. He went today for a follow up and it turns out he has extremely low testosterone and will be starting treatment.

I feel relieved to know there's a medical explanation and it really isn't me. I'm glad this Dr discovered this problem because, from what I've been reading online, having low T can cause many serious health complications.

I am thankful and relieved and look forward to a new beginning and maybe get back to how we used to be in the bedroom. For the first time in a few years I have hope again.
