I Have a Learning Disabiltiy

My father has a learning disability. When i was in 2nd i think they notice i was keeping up with the rest of the class. I guess the tested me. Since i was in 3rd-12th grade I've been in IEP classes.  I can't spell that good, i have trouble learning things, like math etc. I think I'm dumb stupid etc cause i have a learning disability.

    sweetie, just cuz you have a learning disability does NOT mean that you are dumb!

    some of the most intelligent people in the world have had to deal with disabilities.

    You just need to find ways to learn that are different from how most people learn. My daughter has a form of dyslexia, that made it really hard for her to learn to read, and she had a speech problem as well, and we were lucky enough to have a teacher that helped her with both of them over a 2 or 3 year period, and she is doing quite well in college now, using the skills she learned from that dear teacher who took the time to make a difference!



    Also, I have to say, I care far more about what kind of heart my child has than how "smart" she is! 8-)

    And yet, you have better spelling, and better apostrophe use than a lot of other people!! :) I'd say you're not so dumb after all. :)
