I Have a Messed Up Sleep Schedule
I don't have a sleep schedule. I prefer sleeping during the day and being awake in the night, but often that just isn't possible. Like most, I'm expected to be awake during the day. Daytime is full of noises and other things that make me panic and get scared which is why I prefer sleeping through it. I also have a sensitivity to light/the sun which is why during warmer months especially, I try to sleep during the day. I love being awake during the night because it's so dark, quiet, and peaceful. I tend to just sleep whenever I can. Sometimes I'm awake for 48 or more hours straight. Sometimes I sleep for two to three hours within a twenty-four hour period, and sometimes I sleep for seven hours or more. Very rarely, I will even sleep for ten+ hours. People have told me that if I am more active during the daytime hours I will be able to sleep better at night. That doesn't work for me though. The times where I am most active, leave the home more, and do more in general are the days when I have the most trouble sleeping due to being so overwhelmed with everything. I tend to sleep the best when nothing is going on. That's very rare though, which is why I so often don't sleep well. Although I would love to have a job just so I could have an income and feel proud of myself for accomplishing something, I guess it's a good thing I don't. The way I sleep, or more often, don't sleep, I don't think I'd make a very good employee lol
