Messed Up Isn't the Word For It!

I have had a messed up sleep schedule for most of my life, since I was a teenager. I have worked the night shift (by choice, I have to because me schedule stays so messed up).

Even when I am off, and not working, my schedule stays messed. It is hard to flip my sleeping pattern back to a conducive night sleeping schedule. It drives my husband crazy.

But hey, I get paid more for working nights! It has also allowed us to raise the kids without any babysitter or daycare which I think was really important!

ive worked nights plenty it does mess up your sleep patterns1

Thank you for your kind words. I never really had a problem driving home from work and I work 12 hours shifts. I can be tired as all get out but when I hit that clock, I'm exhilarated!

Country road, take me home!! All the best!
Well......you are in the right place......I feel as though all people on EP have messed up schedules.
Its actually healthier to stay on your night shift routine than to try to keep switching around.....also be kind to yourself.....it takes about a month to move your body clock back after only a week of night shift......be careful when driving......shift workers are prone to react like 'drunks' on the road
