The Perfect Cat's Buffet...

Not that I would ever feed my pets that I have in my dorm to my cats at home but I'm merely saying that 2 fish and 2 dwarf robo hamsters make for great food in the eyes of a cat. My best friend and I share a dorm room, and we each have a fish and a hamster. It started with me and my fish, which then turned my friend into wanting one too. Back at my birthday of this year, I was in the pet store wanting to get another pet which was against the rules (a hermit crab), when I saw the adorable hamsters. I'd never been allowed to have one because my mom has this thing with rodents, but I knew right then that I just wanted one. So I got a hamster, and a cage, and all the other "against the rules" stuff you can image him needing. Well, as if one pet that was against the rules wasn't enough, my friend decided she too wanted one, so instead of sharing one hamster, we went back and got another.

So now, we both have one, plus the fish, and I can say it keeps a person on their toes. I can't count the millions of times I've had to race to the closet and sit the hamsters inside quickly before letting -very annoying- RA's into my room, and the few times I've just plainly fell out of bed to do the same thing. But it's worth it, and I wouldn't have it any way. Life is fun when you play it unsafe sometimes. The key is to just not let it get out of hand and get caught. Don't bite off more than you can chew and don't do it unless you can fully trust any other person involved. :)
