Killian the Pit-bull

Okay, I was always extremely afraid of pit-bulls!! I was convinced they all just needed to be put down!

Well, I couldn't have been more wrong!!

We got a pit-bull four months ago (when he was 6 weeks old) and he is such a big Galoop!!

He has the sweetest personality and disposition. He's not aggressive at all and is even gentle with my cats!

He's incredibly smart! Way smarter than the rest of my pack! Lol

I can't imagine my life now without my sweet natured pit-bull named Killian!!

I so agree!

My pitt bull (Brown Sugar :) couldn't be more of a baby! My little schnauwzer mix is way more agressive than Brown Sugar! Named that because that's what she is, sugar!

I hate that pitts have had a such a bad rap. Finding an apartment (since I am a student) has been hellish because NO ONE allows pitt bulls. It's ridiculous. A mastif could pummel my pitt and I personally think labs are way more agressive! Just as ankle bitters are way more distructive lol

I believe dogs are much like children. There are some genetic links, but there is a great majority of environmental factors to weigh in.

I wish you the best of luck! I can't wait to own more pit bulls :)

I couldn't agree more!!

I was so scared of them simply because of all the horror stories I read and heard about!

But once we got him and I saw his sweet face, and his loving disposition, all my preconceived notions flew out the window!!!

I couldn't ask for a better dog! :)

Pitt bull is a terrible name and the breed should be renamed. We'll have to think of a friendly and respectable title. Many dogs can be trained to attack..THEY have decent names. It's all the fault of humans. It sucks.

Thank you Owlie!!
Killian is so spoiled! He doesn't even know he's a pit! Lol

I swear, he thinks he is one of the cats!!! haha

He is definitely being raised in a loving, nurturing environment!! :)

Pit bulls are strong dogs. they aren't mean by nature. People took advantage of this powerhouse, trained many and those are the one's you hear about! When the Pitt Bulls from Michael Vick's camp went to Dog Town, every trainer was on alert. After evaluation, they were sweet shy and friendly. These were the fighters and bait dogs!! Only a handful had to be put down. All others loved kids and were adopted. Some are waiting for homes at Dog town. They aren't vicious when raised in a normal atmosphere.

I admit, that was my fear. But it's also how they are raised! We've had him since he was 6 weeks old and he shows no signs of aggression!
My mom's schnauwzer is more mean and aggressive than any other dog I have ever seen! Lol

Pit bulls turn and end up eating children and killing adults. They are a violent, agressive breed by nature and pack hunters. Warning.
