Now I have a blank page I don't know where to begin! 18 months mums been poorly And with no sign of improving we are breaking our hearts that she will never get well! Two years ago she functioned Not only as a fab and caring grandmother to my 2 & 5 year old but a great mum to my sister and I but also daughter to her 96 year old father whom she nursed into his 90's before becoming so frail he was placed in a nursing home. My little gorgeous gramps Passed away four weeks ago, a blessing in the end. Mum was encouraged to stay in our local hospitals psychiatric unit by the crisis team after expressing she believed the bank were following her, her phone lines were bugged :0( it was a fight for three months to be heard prior to this. She stayed in hospital for six months they tried numerous meds anti- psychotics with no improvement ECT was recommended but thanks to human rights she refused and she was discharged with nothing left for them to do! She lives in fear on a daily basis believes we are going to be arrested for abusing dear old gramps simply guilt from him going into a home. She tells me on a daily basis my children are going to be taken away because of the allegations of abuse, there are none obviously, she is in torment daily, as indeed we are. The impact has been immense on the whole family. My poor youngest child gas witnessed so much anger, frustration and desperation it breaks my heart, and of course my maternal guilt is enormouuuus! We are a family falling apart even affecting our relationships and we don't know what else can be done, we have complained at her lack of progress and we believe they don't see her as we do! They have even put her back on a med that was ineffective in hospital... Will she always be this way all advice helpful please
