Broken Femur

As you can see in my avatar I have a broken femur,it happened at work about 4 months ago.I lay vinyl for a living (or did)and on this day it has totally changed my life .One of the rolls of vinyl was knocked over and landed on my leg and smashed my femur it also tore ligaments in my pelvis and tore my S1/L5 disc in my back in half. Rolls of vinyl have to be stood on their end so they don't flatten out and be unable to use ,the one that fell on me was about 130kg.I have just been x-rayed again and my bones have still not started to knit, its sending me around the bend sitting at home all day doing nothing and still walking on two crutches ,I have also been sleeping in a recliner chair since I came out of hospital because I cannot straighten out.Hopes up things can only get better.
I am so grateful to have stumbled across this web site,it has made me laugh,it has made me cry and is very interesting I'm sure it's keeping me sane .So everyone remember safety first at work, even if your boss tells you to do something and you think it's not safe don't do it or you may end up like me,take care and thank you experience project

Reading your story makes me think that sometimes we're so selfish and we complain about things that aren't that big. Thank you for sharing your story. I'm sure that everything happens for a reason and if we have struggled in life is because we're more than stronger and can be a life example for others who need help. Hugs and take care.
