The Hardest Days

The hardest days are when I am sick, and my husband is laying down in bed asleep, if not in pain. It seems it is more for the worse than for the better that we are together. The children need to stay quiet so Daddy can rest. The house is a mess. I need my rest. My children are so young still they don't understand. They want, they run, they yell, they fight. They need, but I'm just barely here. Some days are harder than others.
