iv been keeping a goal in mind since my man has left for boot camp so it keeps my mind busy. I have so many things I need to do while he is gone. Keep busy, write letters, do cute things for when he comes back. Go to school, learn new recipes. Make things like dishes with quotes, bracelets, anything to keep busy! never stop thinking about him tho, he will feel it!

Thank you so much for the advice. I'm currently trying to go back to school myself and finish my degree along with finding a job. I'm hoping I can get back to doing both soon. Fingers crossed! He did tell me though when he called to let me know he was at his barracks that it would take like three weeks for the first phone call, but I guess I'm just anxious. lol

Since my boyfriend left on the 15th of January I have gotten to talk to him on the phone 3 times. I also have recieved 4 letters from him and he just keeps me going. It feels so good to hear from him whether its phone or letter. Just make sure you keep letting him know you support him and that your proud of him and love him and even YOU will feel that much better. I had my boyfriend get me a kitten for while he is gone and she def helps me to keep my mind going. So if at all possible maybe get a kitten, they will preoccupy your time plus it gives you something to hold on to since he is gone.

Just stay strong and keep busy...I'm in school and I have a job so it just really helps me personally and takes my mind off me not being able to talk to him or being able to see him as frequently as I would like to. Once you get the first letter the fact that you've heard from him will def pt u at ease...as far as being able to talk to him I think it all depends on the base he's located at. I've only talked to my boyfriend twice since he's been in basic...bt from what he's told me his commander is a real ****....so hopefully yours gets someone whose nicer:)! lol
