  That's how I feel about love, its sad to me. Because I have seen how it ends. This is Kazi's song also btw. I used to play it for him as a pup while I rocked him to sleep in my arms.

  Well what I mean by sad is... bitter sweet. Life is filled with pain and love is life's crowning achievement so of course it carries the sweetest suffering. In the end we all know what happens, we are mortal. The trick is learning to love the "glass already broken" so that each moment spent with it is more precious. The only way I see to win at the game is to not play. To love the world and set it free by freeing yourself from its grasp.

  ... in truth all are immortal even if we are mortal. Free... what is free really? If one can't free oneself from oneself, how can one free oneself from the world. limits... broken, things... it's all there.

  Well thats how you free the world Barlong, you become free from yourself that is part of the world. Its why I say that if people chain their hearts to me then their hearts becomes a chain I must break. There is no exception to this rule for me. I left the world a long time ago and I will never stop leaving it. But the company of those I meet along the way is always nice, as long as they know what they are in for. ;)

  Or it means that I have expanded my ability for true love to include all of life so focusing it toward just one person seems narrow? "Once you have tasted flight you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward. For there you have been and there you will always long to return." I know what your saying though, there is a special quality that true love takes on when you find it in the body of a beautiful human female (or male for you) who can return that love. But if sex isn't an issue then there is no need to confine love in such a way.
