My Angels of Love

I am new to this website. I hope everyone is doing well.  I am a mother of 3 special need children. 2 of my children have ADHD and my other child has cerebral palsy along with a list of other medical problems.

All of my children are girls. My oldest is 25yrs old and she has ADHD from the age of 6.She has a disability when it come to comprehension. Her reading level is that of an grader. She was born 9 weeks early. She lives at home with me. She is married, has a 2 yr. old and she is 2 months pregnant. Her husband lives with us too. The husband does not work but does a good job at taking care of my grandson. My daughter worked for MD.

My second child is 22 yrs. old.  She has Cerebral Palsy and Mental Retardation. Her cp is the worst kind a person can have. First off she is like taking care of a child. I love her to death. over her course of her life she has gone through 19 surgeries. she is non-verbal, legally blind, quadriplegic, incontinent , g-tube fed, and has other problems. She is the light of my life and I stay home to care for her.

My third child age 9 has ADHD. My 9 year old is much like her older sister when she was 9. The only different is my 9 year old is much smarter than her sister was at this age.  My 9 year old was full term with no complications . When you have 2 children living in the same household who have ADHD it can become a nightmare. Will explain more later.

I have been married for 28 yrs to a special man. My husband works night shift so he is unable to help me out with the girls ,but he is a great soul mate, loving and understanding man, and a great provider. He does his best when he is home and awake. I could not have asked for a better husband.

I also feel for you. I have a special needs daughter, and feel "burned out" constantly. I am tired all the time, because I have no help with her. I am separated from her father. I am sooooo tired!

BIG HUGS!!! I have one daughter with severe ADHD (plus ODD and EI) but wow I can only imagine having two. I wrote you and hope you will write back. I think you and I could be a great support system for each other.

i feel for you, my dear. will keep you in my thoughts and hope that you continue to be blessed.
