ermione. Hermi-ya-ya-ya-ya-ya-ya....
Good lord, where do I even begin on the sexiness that is Hermione Granger. Ok, so I never read any of the Harry Potter books. But I've watched all the movies and damn, does Emma Watson just exponentiallly increase in hotness as each sequel comes out or what? Ok, I just realized that the fact that I made no distinction between 12 yo Emma Watson and legal Emma Watson may be a bit startling (read: pedophilic), but you get the picture.
Hermione is smart, there's no doubt about that. She is the quintessential nerd and OWNS it. Brains like hers do not grow on trees (if they did, Megan Fox would be a very smart woman). But what sets Hermione apart from the other witches is that she also happens to have a black belt in keeping it real. She's gone through a ton of sh*t that not many other teenagers have experienced. Hell, even I have yet to come face to face with a Death Eater and I can probably hold more alcohol than Emma Watson.
Ok so a summary of Hermione's undeniable awesomeness:
1. The epitome of nerdy
2. High-aptitude for magical spells/incantations
3. Massive amounts of street cred and all-around badassery
4. Nice hair that I just want to run barefoot through
5. Ridiculously hawwwwt
Emma Watson is so rich she will never have to work a day of her life. And she's only 19. Kind of makes me feel like crap in comparison since when I was 19 I had just dropped out of college and began working 80 hour weeks since my job was only paying a little over minimum wage. It's like watching those gymnasts in the Olympics and you think back to when you were 12 and felt proud for being able to get an A in P.E.
Anyway, since I always say it's never too early to think about securing my future - I feel the best course of action for me to take at this stage of my life is to set my sights on marrying Emma Watson. I know the competition is fierce, so I've even planned out the perfect seduction routine...
The following takes place at some book signing event that I attend while dressed in my wizard cape:
Me: Hey Emma, I dig your portrayal of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter flicks. And let me just say, your hair is totally rocking today!
Emma: OMG thanks, I spent practically an hour working on it! Love the cape, by the way - you look awesome!
Me: Wow, thanks! Oh yeah, I almost forgot...
Emma: Hmm?
Me (busting out my magic wand): Bra removum!
And then we live happily ever after. Or I get a black eye and cry myself to sleep. But I prefer dreaming big.

 Feeling devastated | Posted Nov 8th, 2009 at 5:43AM LOL. I love this story. Lots of my male friends are in love with Hermione too and I just can't see it. I mean I would love to be her friend, she's the kind of person I am friends with in real life, yeah but I honestly fail to see the attraction. But then again, I'm a woman too so.. :) |

Actually, I honestly don't know what I find physically so appealing - I'm typically attracted to women like Zooey Deschanel. In Emma Watson's case, the attraction has grown over time - maybe I just dig female celebrities that are significantly more intelligent than Megan Fox. @AndrewPenney: I thought of that during that scene in Order of the Phoenix when Harry and Cho are about to make out. Maybe they'll add that in to the Unrated version... @Cici88: That is the sweetest thing I've ever heard anyone say in my entire life. If things with Emma don't work out, I'd like to take you out on a date. Just don't mind me when I show up in my wizard cape. |

 | Posted Nov 8th, 2009 at 6:38PM Lol when the second movie came out my friend strock and I were just finishing the books. We saw the changes from movie 1 to 2 and could easily estimate the future. That she was on the road to becoming a fox. Movie three confirmed it and on it went. We only had to be patient. The patience has paid off.. We've just looked at each other for years and said 'f***in hermione, man!'  |
 | Posted Nov 9th, 2009 at 5:12AM No series of movies has ever been made, over so many years, featuring all the same actors (apart from one who died). The HP series will break many records. It has been a delight to watch Emma Watson grow from an attractive little girl into a beautiful young woman. You are right: she could retire, on her earnings, aged 20! I hope she doesn't! |

I guess I think back to being that age and she would be a girl I would have liked to have been with. But I feel like a dirty old man, being 36, but it isn't in a bad way like I would want to be around her now of course, it just makes me reminisce. |
