She's a child. I doubt there's much you can do for her but, you can make a difference for yourself. Just like most children, they will behave how they are allowed to and always push the limits.

Think about it. What isn't childish about her behavior.

PMS is no excuse either. When's the last time you heard a woman use that for poor behavior around other women? Ever wonder why that is? It's because it's a sorry cop out in an attempt to shirk responsibility for poor behavior. Regardless of influence, bad behavior is bad behavior and the perpetrator should be held accountable for such.

If you think she's really sick, then send her to a professional. Otherwise, I'd recommend learning how to properly put your foot down. She shouldn't get a pass for treating you poorly simply because her plumbing is different. Expect and demand her to act her age. Do not tolerate childishness (irresponsibilty, lack of self-control, etc.)

I feel for you i no its hard to deal with someone when they are upset but is there any chance she might be going through the change of life. Hope i'm not being insulting not my intention at all, or it could be something hormonal like PMS.

Maybe you could chat to her on a good day and suggest she talks to her doctor. The change can occur anywhere from 20 +

I really hope i didn't speak out of line here.
