I Have a Very Sucessful Long Distance Relationship
so I met my bf on a online dating site. I signed up to not really 'date' but to just talk/chat with some people,and I did.i talked with about four or five nice guys with my same intention,to just talk with someone your own age about anything.
I had been on the site less then a month before my bf contacted me.he had been on over a year but didn't really use it much. We really enjoyed talking with each other,talked through the whole night. he asked me if we could talk again the next night,I said sure. we learned we both had similar childhoods,same type of family problems/trials.same religion. we discussed political views but didn't argue about it. about three days later exchanged a picture of each other. He asked me to call him about two weeks later (I wasn't ready to give him my number). I called,talked for hours.I never knew what I wanted in a guy,but after "meeting" him,talking with him,I knew that he is what I wanted.
We Skype or webcam every night,email during the day.
so now,more then half a year later,we are extremely serious with each other,want to get married,etc
haven't really had any fights,cant stay mad at each other for more then ten minutes.
I never really thought LDR could work,now I know it works,communication is the key
