Or So I Think

I think my sense of humor is weird or different because most people don't find the things I find funny well, funny.

I am a bit sardonic and well, I have to really be careful with the things I say because sometimes people misinterpret me.

I like dark humor such as that used in Tim Burton's tragic stories. I get "Nightmare before Christmas", I get "Reservoir Dogs" I just get it. I don't understand how people can't get it. I see humor where people see strange. I love that though. I think it make me unique. I don't laugh at people's misfortunes, I think that is just heartless.

I guess I don't have much to say about it. I just do have a particular sense of humor.

Don't know why you seem to be concerned about it. Sarcasm is a mark of intelligence. A person has to stay a step above the negative things in life to see humor in it. Why not? There isn't much we can do about human nature except to laugh. It is not like we are laughing about a disabled person falling down..no! but I remember when I saw the Ice Cream wagon being towed away... something about that struck me as funny. Sick humor.

Having a unique sense of humor is a great trait. "Nightmare Before Christmas", great piece of humor. I also love the Coen Brothers films, such as "The Big Lebowski" and "O Brother Where Art Thou". Love their sense of humor. Full of life. Thanks!

Have you seen the movie "the people under the stairs'? or "Sean of the Dead"?<br />

I, Too, enjoy sarcasm. I might make off the wall comments on something sarcastically and I just wait to see who in the group might "get" my humor. I have been surprised many times when another person shares my humor while no one else catches my meaning. It becomes an instant bond. When no one "gets" me, I can still smile to myself. People probably think I am loony at those times LOL.
