I work from home, but I still have a ritual.

Get up anywhere between 4 and 5.

Got to the bathroom.

Take my morning commute to the kitchen, watching out for road blocks ie: toys on the floor and my dog.

Make my coffee.  Sit there staring at it until there is enough in the pot for my first cup.

Have a cigarette.

Log on to my computer for work.

Work out a little.

Work until my daughter wakes up.

Change her diaper and feed her.

Back to work.

I am an inventory specialist for the 2nd largest plumbing supply wholesaler in so cal. I am blessed to have my job, I am the only employee that works from home, they made my position when I quit when I had to move.

What kind of job u got to do from home? I too like it but never had anything worthy.

I am one of those people that needs a routine. If I don't have one, I feel lost.

Yes - you have reminded me of the importance of routine. I vow to get my a** out of bed and set up a daily routine from now on.... at least Mon-Fri. Thanks and good for you. :) GJ
