My fiance has it. He has been in the hospital since Dec. 8, 2011. As of now, he has had chemo and the doctor told him today that all his cells were killed. This is confusing to me. I would like to know is you have chemo., what chemicals were used on you.

my chemo's were ara/c, vincristine, donomyacin/arubimyacin,methothrexate and one other i cant remember the name. They were all horrible in their own way. I received transplant while in my first remission and the marrow was an unrelated donor. Before transplant the same chemos plus radiation were again given only much stronger doses. This insured that my own immune system was completely eliminated. If you want to talk more please email me and I can give you my number ok. Take care and God Bless. a.atkins1970@att.net

Thats amazing! I could only hope the same fate for my baby girl. She has been in remission 2 years now after relapsing from the Bone Marrow Transplant. Your story gives me hope and faith!
