My Light Shines Bright

No matter the experience, I will always find something positive to draw from. It's been said by more than a few of my closest friends and family that I have this light of hope. I have had this optimistic view of "the glass is always half full" as far back as I can remember. It has served me well- especially during the darkest hours of my life. My light will continue to burn eternally- I believe for the ages- long after I am no longer physically here. That is what hope is: the ability to believe that life will carry on, in spite of those elements which attempt to extinguish it.

My wish is for all of us to shine bright, and help light the paths of those who don't.
