It's A Love Hate Thing

For the most part the thought of aliens abducting me or coming into my room while I sleep really makes me paranoid and I try to convince myself its all in my head. It's still a little hard to put my mind at ease sometimes. On the other hand though I love learning about them, discussing them with others, reading about them, and I can't watch anything else when there is some type of alien or UFO documentary on. I find it really fascinating and scary at the same time. Not scary enough to where it controls my life, but if I hear something go bump at night... my first thought? Aliens!

That's about the level things are at for me now. It used to be much worse. The idea of abduction is horrifying in that it places us in a completely vulnerable situation possibly similar to a lab rat; even if the experimenters (if that is in fact what they are [assuming that they exist at all]) aren't hostile and actively intending to cause negative effects, it doesn't mean that they won't. On the other hand, regardless of their intentions, alien abduction offers a fascinating glimpse into a world and technology possibly billions of years ahead of our own.<br />

At my work I constantly have the television on Ancient Aliens and things of that sort, but I never mention anything about it to anyone or acknowledge the fact that I'm constantly watching documentaries about the possibilities of extraterrestrial life. I don't let it bother me.

Unfortanately Aliens do not abduct people who are conscientious of them. So your safe.:))
