I Don't Wear Make-up To Look Beautiful For Men

I hate it when people assume that wearing makeup is to attract a man. It's not. I love make-up because it's an art form. Many people may not see makeup as this, but I do. It is a medium that for me has as much validity as oil-paint. The only difference really is I can wear mine on my face, as a result, more people can see my artwork. I feel like wearing make-up every day is a chance for me to express myself. I like many people, have to wear a uniform to work. By putting on my make-up in my own way, I can individualize myself and express myself. I really don't have time to sit down and paint an oil painting any more, but I do have time to take 5 minutes and put on eyeshadow. It quells the creative side of me for a little while.
