Does An Ovarian Cyst Make You Sick?

I was diagnosed with a 10cm ovarian cyst several weeks ago. All I had was pain until last weekend when I really started feeling crummy and nauseous. I've been to the emergency room once with this and they did another ultrasound and the cyst shrunk a little down to 9.5 cm. My question is do cysts make you feel sick, I honestly feel this thing is killing me, the pain isnt bad but I feel so sick, has anyone else ever had this experience with their cysts? I'm also having a hard time finding a doctor to do the surgery to remove it, we have no insurance and make too much to qualify for low income insurance. I'm trying to find a new obgyn to get a second opinion but no one wants to squeeze me in. I'm really starting to feel hopeless, and feel like I wont be here for my 38th birthday.

    I had emergency surgery a year ago to remove a left ovarian cyst that was 12.7cm x 10.4cm x 7.5cm. It moved about a lot because of the weight of it which made me feel very sick, especially when I first got out of bed in the morning and it "settled into place", and because of the size it was also pressing on other organs like my bladder and I presume stomach? It might also have been due to lack of sleep, I'd turn over during the night and the cyst would shift, waking me up and not getting enough sleep can cause nausea. Keep on at the doctors though, I'm sorry you're having such problems getting it treated, fingers crossed for you that you get it sorted soon!
